These computer labs will serve to lower gaps in access to devices and the Web by offering public computer gain access to for people with specials needs, Marylanders without long-term residence (i.e. unhoused), veterans, and our incarcerated & returning citizens. The program supplies grants of approximately $65,000 for approximately 100% for the creation, upgrade, and/or retrofit of computer system labs/centers throughout Maryland.

The financing source for the program is the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and all federal guidelines required of the financing use to the program. The Maryland Workplace of Statewide Broadband is making up to around $11.8 million offered through Link Maryland's Network Infrastructure Grant Program Round 2.
